Criminal charges laid against former Bellamy’s director

The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) has laid criminal charges against Jan Cameron, the former director of baby formula company Bellamy’s Australia. ASIC alleges in 2014 Ms Cameron failed to disclose that she and a company called Black Prints had about 15 per cent of the shares in Bellamy’s. Under the Corporations Act you need to inform the market when you have more than five per cent of shares in a business. Ms Cameron could be jailed for up to five years for contravening the Corporations Act. Image: News Corp Australia
