Passengers on the Golden Princess cruise ship have been told to expect delays before disembarking as health officials conduct onboard screenings after a number of passengers reported feeling unwell. Victorian Health Minister Jenny Mikakos said the screenings would be done out of “an abundance of caution” as the sick passengers did not report any symptoms of COVID-19. Ms Mikakos confirmed passengers entering Australia from the ship would undergo the same process as those arriving on a flight. The cruise ship departed for New Zealand on March 10 and is understood to have docked only once during the trip.
