Upwards of 30,000 people attended Black Lives Matter protests in Brisbane on Saturday, prompting fears of a second wave of COVID-19. Queensland's border closure also remain a point of contention for the state, with Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk unable to commit to a date for when they will be reopened. The next key date for the state's roadmap to recovery is June 12, when 20 patrons will be allowed in venues.
