Federal Nationals President Larry Anthony says he does not expect 'a second miracle' from today’s Eden-Monaro by-election. Although Nationals candidate Trevor Hicks said he was “the right man for the job”, the Mr Anthony said he did not expect a miracle similar to what the Coalition saw at the last federal election. Polling suggested Trevor Hicks held just five per cent of the primary vote, trailing Labor’s Kristy McBain with 38.1 per cent, and Liberal’s Fiona Kotvojs with 37.5 per cent.
