At least nine people were arrested and nine vehicles were impounded after Black Lives Matter protesters brought traffic to a halt on a major bridge in Seattle, Washington, on September 4. Protesters blocked southbound traffic at around 10:30 am local time, starting chants and giving speeches through a megaphone. Local media reported the crowd letting a car through to travel to a radiation appointment. Around 40 protesters were involved in blocking traffic, according to The Stranger.
